Hello all!
After months of being MIA, I am now hoping to get back on track! I've recently added Web Designer to my list of wants and needs. I didn't know where to turn! I started out by buying CS5: Dreamweaver. I was overwhelmed. I'll admit, I had no clue how much work and effort went into designing a webpage.IT IS NOT LIKE MAKING A FACEBOOK PAGE!
There are all these TAGs that have to be applied to your HTML page, before a web browser (you know, that empty space at the top of Safari or Internet Explorer that lets you type in facebook.com...) can successfully interpret it and give you a website! WTH! No wonder web designers are paid a lot- they deserve it!
Well, I decided I would love to know how to design web sites without having to go back to school. I subscribed to Create the Net (click HERE to go to his website) on youtube and I'm telling you- this guy knows his stuff! He makes his tutorials understandable and teaches you under the impression you have no former knowledge of Dreamweaver.
I decided to give it a try. After watching the videos on HTML basics (click HERE to view the webpage) one time- I thought, "eh- I got this!" Then I went to make my own website in HTML and couldn't remember a singe thing that I saw. So, then I got smarter. I watched the videos again and also took notes. They are extremely helpful and detailed. I would like to offer my notes to you for free- in case you, like me, have no clue how to work Dreamweaver CS5.

I'll be learning the basics to CSS next and I'll post my notes from that course once I've finished making them. If you haven't already, please become a fan of my facebook page MOOSEink by clicking any of the pictures on my blog and hitting the "LIKE" button! Good luck and happy learning!
